During hot weather, the CBD body butter might soften or melt while in transit due to warm mail trucks and mailboxes. Melting is a natural response to heat, which we cannot control during delivery.
Commercial products often contain phthalates, cocamide DEA, MEA, petroleum-based oils, waxes, and other additives to maintain consistency through temperature changes. Our natural organic products do not include these synthetic additives.
Our CBD body butter, rich in natural oils and butter, is designed to be semi-solid at room temperature and melts instantly when applied to warm skin, offering nourishment and penetration.
WHAT TO DO IF MELTING OCCURS:
- On sunny or warm days, it is advisable to refrigerate the product before opening to prevent spills.
- Melting will not affect the quality but may alter the whipped consistency, resulting in a balm-like texture.
- Whipping introduces air bubbles to create a light, fluffy texture; if a whipped product melts, the volume decreases.
- Although the container may appear less full and the color may darken, the product's quality and healing properties remain intact.
OUR EFFORTS TO ADDRESS MELTING:
- To prevent melting during transit in hot weather, we pack the product in insulated mailers with ice packs.
- While most products arrive without melting in warm weather, we cannot entirely control high temperatures during summer, in trucks, and mailboxes.
